Eyebrow Transplant
The main objective of an eyebrow transplant is to create or enhance the appearance of eyebrows by implanting hair follicles to achieve fuller, more defined brows. This procedure is aimed at improving facial aesthetics and providing a natural and appealing eyebrow shape.
These techniques cause the eyebrows to shed rapidly and irreversibly. Moreover, factors such as psychological aspects, medication use for health conditions, and genetic predispositions contributing to eyebrow loss have led to a consistent demand for eyebrow transplantation, particularly from women, seeking to enhance and reshape their eyebrows.
The FUE technique is employed for eyebrow transplantation, a procedure typically lasting 2-3 hours and performed under local anesthesia. A small area at the back of the head, between the ears, is trimmed to extract a sufficient number of hair follicles through micro-grafts, utilizing a micro motor.
Given that single-hair micro grafts are required for eyebrow transplantation, the harvested follicular units are meticulously divided into 1-hair grafts. Usually, 200 to 600 hair grafts are ample, depending on the spacing between the eyebrows. The recovery process post-transplantation aligns with that of a standard hair transplant.
Following the procedure, the implanted hair sheds within approximately a month. Around 3 months post-operation, as the eyebrows start to regrow, gentle fingertip massages along the growth direction play a crucial role in shaping the eyebrows effectively. The entire process typically concludes within 6-8 months.
